lately..

Tonight Im just standing in awe of the great and mighty God that we serve. At how He works, the things He does for us, and all He's given us...simply amazing. I havent blogged too much lately bc things have been busy, but sooo much fun. Mona is here from Germany, staying with us, and we're staying busy w/F.U.N!! (I keep telling mom we should just adopt her and let her stay here w/us! hehe) We didnt get to make it to the beach like we wanted this wknd but instead we've gotten to have plenty of shopping trips and went camping, which was a total and complete blast!! And we still have grassy trips, horseback riding, and girls nights still planned..and lots more Im sure haha! And another thing, Ive realized I had forgotten how to have fun! For probably 7 or so yrs Ive been this..person. And now Im finding old loves again!! Things that I use to ALWAYS do growing up that seemed to vanish completely out of my life...and Im sooo sooooo happy to have found them again!!!! Lately God has taken me on some turns and roads that I def did not see coming but I am sooo grateful that HE is the One who is in control and handles things...I am not sure (or would want to even think about) where/who I'd be w/out Him in my life!!! Ive had a lot of 'down deep in the valley' moments over the past couple of months...but Im realizing that that too is part of my journey and Im finding its not about the destination, but to enjoy LIFE..the journey AND the destination! God is continuing to show me soo much and I am truly amazed. And cant help but fall to my knees in complete gratitude at times for thinking of ALL that He has blessed me with...it is most def very true that sometimes
you must go through the valley to stand upon the mountain of God!!!!!!!!!
