My holiday wknd was amazing!!!

but we made it work. and its in the most PERFECT spot!!

excuse my crazy head wrap. it is too stinkin cold to not

cover my ears and my face. lol! most of the time that

thing is snugged up to where all you see are my eyes! haha

Thursday-Food. Lots of food! haha Dinner w/Chads family then dinner w/my family (well, some of them:) Then played board games w/Chad, Lucky and Patrick. [pictionary man=my fav!] Then hit up Wal-Mart for the midnight sales! CRAZINESS!! LOL! But Im super excited to do it again next year. :) 


Friday-Slept in..since it was 5am before I went to bed...stayed home all day, chad worked half a day then hunted the afternoon. We watched ELF w/my parents Friday night (first time I'd seen the whole movie. loved it!:) Then, went to bed fairly early to get up and hunt Sat morning!

Saturday-Got in the woods a little later than we'd hoped...scared a gorgeous buck on our way to the stand lol! (he saw us and hit his head on a tree trying to get away..bahahaha hilarious story!) But then didnt see anything else the rest of the morning. [Booo!] But I looove hunting w/my boyfriend and my dad sooo much!!! Its really awesome! And now my cousin is hunting w/us too! He was like my other big brother growing up, so I'm glad I get to be apart of it all and grow all of our relationships more. Its so much fun :) and I am sooo very thankful they let me join in!!! And besides that, sitting in nature for hours (in silence) is pretty awesome too! Around 1:00 we headed out and went to help my dad and my cousin find his deer. We followed a blood trail for hours and then lost it. (Made me soo angry!! haha) But I thought it was pretty awesome, I found two spots and that stuff isnt easy to find!! lol We were literally on our hands and knees..it was pretty funny. Looking for blood and yet, so much fun! lol! Oh, and I got windburn from the stinkin fourwheeler. OMG that stuff hurts!! LOL! Then we headed home. Got ready. Went to Walmart to get ME some shells...(Ive discovered that Chad's gun..my dad's old gun..is too long for me. I cant hold the darn thing to even shoot it lol So Im gonna use Lucky's old gun:) Then we went to Chili's to eat with Kyle, Lindsey, Lance and a couple other ppl. [fun times!] Then, met Conor. Then back to mi casa. It was waaayy past bed time for me..since I'd been up so early AND since I was sup to get up early this morning again....if you know me, you know how important my sleep is. lol Oh and for Chad...one word. Muzzle. hahahaha. [i love you anyway! lol]

Sunday-Well, I didnt exactly get up this morning. I was pretty upset w/myself. BUT it was 1am before I was in bed and Chad wanted up at 5ish to be at the property at 6. I just could NOT bring myself to go! lol I am disappointed though bc everyone got a stupid deer this morning!!!! grrrrr lol I went this evening though and we sat up our blind in a new spot and I am SUPER excited about this spot. I WILL kill a deer from there. I know it. Its too perfect not too haha But it'll have to wait until next stinkin weekend. But this wknd was perfect. I wish the wknds were always longer....we dont have nearly enough time together. Or enough time to hunt. Anyway, now home for the evening and getting ready for bed. Get to see my Holt girls in the AM! I am soooo very grateful for my amazing family, friends and sweet boyfriend!!! Its been an awesome long wknd, spent w/some awesome people!!!! ♥
