2010 continued...

More 2010 happenings that I failed to mention previously...

and I will probably add to this list, just for my records :)

*My aunt found out her and her husband are expecting their first child!!!!! My aunt has been wanting her own little one for as long as I can remember!! And finally at age 40 God has blessed her with a sweet baby boy due to be born in April!!! I can not wait to meet him!!!! God is sooo good!!

*Spent time with my niece, Megan, who I havent seen in a few years and who I have missed sooo very much!!! Praying we get to start spending more time with her!!

*I started a blog!! haha! I love to write and since there was soo much craziness going on in my life and God was using me and my situtions in ways that blow my mind even still..I HAD to write about them and share them! I am sooo happy I started this blog!! I have viewers from all over the world who regularly look at my page and even though they're not 'following' me, I know they still find what I say interesting enough to read..and that makes me soo super happy!!! Also, people have came to me and told me just how MY stories and testimony have helped them and THAT alone is reason enough to keep bloggin'!!! If God shows me something I cant help but want to get it out and share it with others in hopes of helping them in some shape or form!!

*I thought I had a brain tumor. Oh my geeeeez. Long story. But not sure Ive posted about it. I had some serious eye issues back in April (I think) and I finally gave in and went to my eye doctor (just at my eye glass store) and since she isnt a real doctor doctor (haha) she had referred me to someone else. Well...I have this huge lump behind my left eye thats been there for a few yrs and never bothered me but I showed it to her (bc of all the other issues I was having) out of concern. She took a look, wrote a few things down, then referred me to an Optometrist. My appt with the optometrist wasnt until a wk and a half later. I went home that night and read the paper that she wrote on (which was faxed to the Optometrist) and it had this huge word on it that I cant even remember now. But I got curious and went and looked it up on the internet. BAADDDD MISTAKE!!!! It was pretty much saying I had a brain tumor. So for almost 2wks I held it in that I had this THING inside of me that my dr thought was a tumor!! I didnt want to worry anyone, the way that I already was...but I finally gave in and told Chad. Then my best friend Amber. Just bc I HAD to have someone praying about this with me!! They both were great and helped sooo much. But that day at the dr when he finally informed me that I didnt have a tumor and that NOTHING appeared to be wrong w/my eyes and the lump was just an enlarged tear duct...I CRIED!!!! I bawled like a big ole baby!! I told the nurse how that word that the other dr had written had had me scared and my mom was sitting there and hearing it all for the first time..she cried lol! It was SUCH a huge relief!! Again, GOD. IS. GREAT!!!! A few months later and my eyes are back to normal......they still have a hard time adjusting every now and then but its nothing like it was in April. GLORY BE TO GOD!!! 

*I had the most special, romantic Valentines day of my life in 2010. It was something I will NEVER forget. :)

*I am pretty sure I broke a rib. haha Posted about this a few wks ago, but it most def is cracked or something....never had that one happen before lol

*Got to be a mommy chicken to three baby chicks......which all passed away, thanks to a mean man. But anyway (grrr..) in return (bc we bought a rooster...and had 3 random chickens show up at our house lol!) I ended up with 16 babies!!!! That I didnt have to care for but that I got to watch grow up!!! :) I love to tell the WHOLE chicken story....its one of my favorites. 'It all started with chickens' ;) Sometime I might share it on here...

*Ahh, got to see Tenth Avenue North in concert and personally thank them for a song that turned me around one night when I wasnt on the right thinking path.....and got hugs and pictures in return. They were awesome!!! Also, got to see my all time favorite FRANCESCA BATTISTELLI in concert!!!!! She is amazing!! Annnd got to see Brad Paisley!, George Strait!, Reba, Miranda Lambert, LeeAnn Womack, Kelly Clarkson, Brooks and Dunn!!, Third Day!!, Justin Moore, Chris Young, Luke Bryan!, and Easton Corbin!! (who we got to get on stage with!!!!) all for the first time...amazing!!

*Spent time with our German sister, MONA!!! She got to come back (home)!! Praying we can do it again this year...or us go there! ;)

*Went fourwheelin'...first time since I was little!!! Had one of the most amazing days of my life!!! :)

*I passed out for the first time in my life...hahahaha!!! Me and the ER dont go together.

*Went to my first haunted house!!!! Ive always been too chicken to go before. But I sucked it up and went..and loved it!!

*Gained a new friend. Well...closer friend anyway. Maranda. :) We've known each other for years..middle school...but havent ever really hung out and talked...and boy are we good at talking when we're together! haha

*Had to give away 7puppies.....Ive NEVER given away animals before (except a kitten to my cousins) and I had to give away 7 of my Teeka's puppies. Heartbreaking. BUT I put on my big girl panties and took the time and made sure they all went to loving homes! :) I met lots of nice new sweet people and still get to keep in touch with most of them (and most of my Teeka's babies) still today!

*Got my first gun!!!! Christmas present 2010!! :)

*Got to be there for the 'growing up' pictures of sweet sweet Jolee!!! Karlee and Heath are wonderful. Two of my favorites!! And they have two of the sweetest girls..who I LOVE getting to photograph!! And they added a third princess to the mix and Ive gotten to take pictures of her every few months and she'll be ONE soon!!! Its been awesome. My favorite clients :) [btw..Jolee just took her first few steps the other day..Go Jolee!!!!! I cant wait to see it in person!] ;)

*Oh Oh!!! Saw BEAR for the first time EVER in real life!! hahaha!! Ive been to Cade's Cove a million times growing up and never gotten to see a bear...but did in JUNE!!! :) I was sooo ecstatic!

haha wow...2010 was certainly different. I feel sooo blessed and

grateful having gotten to experience all that it brought with it.
