Friday (1.21)-RadioShack. Fuji. Chads. Watched a show about psycho killers...fun fun fuunnn night :) Chad worked some crrrazzzy hours this week (going in at 1am and getting off wayy later than normal) so he slept most of the day everyday, getting up when I was going to bed to go back to work...so we didnt get to even talk much so seeing him on Fridays is always my favorite!!
Saturday (1.22)-Boathouse for Chad's Dad's birthday! Back to Chad's, watched The A-Team! Made a late night run to Walmart and bough lots of candy and ice cream! haha! Spent foreverrr in the camping section. Steak & Shake.
Sunday (1.23)-Cliff's Birthday!! Church was absolutley AMAZZZZING!!!!!!! Matt was on fire! And the msg was incredible! (Take off that snuggie & pick up that sword!:) Then drove up on the the mountain by Chad's mountain. Ive been to the lookouts and overlooks on Grassy, Fort, John's and Chad's (hehe) Mountains but NEVER have I ever seen anything as beautiful as our view yesterday. We were at the very tip top of the mountain yesterday. Not only could you see off ONE side of the mountain with an amazing vew, but you could see it on all sides!! It was one of the most amazing, beautiful moments Ive ever experienced! I didnt get many pictures (firstly, how are you gonna capture all of that?) but also, I was too overwhelmed to even really think about my camera. Here we were, just the two of us. Standing on this enormous moutnain. Looking out in every direction, staring down at our town. (and other towns..you could see for FOREVER!) It brought tears to my eyes and gave me one of those "God Moments" that I love so much. It reminded me of the commercial I heard recently on J103. It said something like this "There will be moments in your life where you're on top of the mountain! Feeling amazing! Seeing EVERYTHING! And everything, is BEAUTIFUL!! But during the normal, down in the valley (with mountains standing tall all around you) times, you STILL must remember that that is all still there. God is still in control. Its all still just as beautiful in His hands."...And that commercial hit me yesterday as we were standing there..me, speechless...seeing it all!! Thats always there. I just may not be seeing it, but its always just as gorgeous! I never knew a day of riding could move me so much. God is truly amazing. And my boyfriend, is so wonderful. For pushing me out of my comfort zone (we had to go up some 'iffy' roads and had to walk a little ways..but it was so much more than worth it!), for giving me THOSE kind of moments, and for sharing them with me..making them THAT much more amazing!!!!!
